Margie Larsons newest exhibition showcases an exotic mix of realistic landscapes, hyper realistic reflections in chrome, abstracts, and plein air paintings that symbolize a lifetime devotion to developing her artistic wings. Larsons style is an expression of artistic self-discovery, an ongoing passion for expermentation of her craft.

Margie received a her degree in Arts Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has been awarded two PLRAC/McKnight Emerging Artist Grants from Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council. With these grants, she has continued to perfect her technique by studying with noted artists who have opened her perspective to new and engaging inspiration for her work. Margie describes her continuing education as looking for feathers for her wings.

Building Wings will be exhibited in the TRCA Gallery at the Emy Frentz Arts Guild from September 6 through October 17. An opening reception will be Thursday, September 20 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. This exhibit is free and open to the public.
